The Sheriff's Support Group kicks off its Farnsworth Park summer concert series in fine style as the Elk's 99 Concert Band returns with an evening of patriotic music in celebration of our Nations 234th birthday on Sat., July 3, starting at 7 PM. Fun for the entire family, and it's free.

SSGA's Robert Klomburg tells us the concert will open with the ALD 7 Explorers presenting the Colors, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance, then SSGA member Tom Joyce will sing the two stanzas of our National Anthem. And, of the 29 cities in the San Gabriel Valley, Altadena has the only summer concert series funded by citizens and sponsors.
