Doris Finch adds to our stress:

Just to add to our critter compendium, a large bobcat was in the ungroomed part of our large yard on Monday morning.  As my yard man described it [a gato montez], it would seem to have been a male–about 2′ tall, 3′ long, good spots, big tufted ears, very short tail.  I was sorry to have missed him, but my gardener couldn’t reach me to tell me.  Location, Crescent Dr. where Bowring tees into it.
