The Altadena Sheriff Station and other local public safety and law enforcement organizations are sponsoring the 29th annual “National Night Out” on Tues., Aug. 7, at Loma Alta Park, 3330 N. Lincoln Ave. from 5-8 PM.

There will be a free community potluck and barbecue, and you are asked to bring a salad or dessert to share.

Community Oriented Policing (COPS) officers will be handing out surveys.  The “Shakey Quakey” School House will be on display, and there will be a kids jumper and several booths and displays on neighborhood watch, CERT training, and crime prevention.
