The Altadena NAACP will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the ACT-SO competition from 2-5 PM Sunday at the Altadena Community Center, 730 E. Altadena Dr.

ACT=SO is a major youth initiative of the NAACP, a forum through which African-American youth can demonstrate academic, artistic, and scientific prowess and expertise, gaining the same recognition often only reserved for entertainers and athletes.

The public is welcome to the performance.  Donation is $20 for adults and $10 for youth 18 and under.  There will be a reception from 2-3 PM and an award ceremony from 3-5 PM.  For more information, call 626-794-3444.
