The Arroyo Food Co-op (Altadenablog sponsor) has announced the winners of its drawing to be members #499 and #500.
Eugene Imai, the director of the Shumei America Center in Pasadena (where the co-op board holds its meetings) pulled the following names:
- Mud Baron (from Pasadena) is #500
- Mike Quishenberry (from Altadena) is #499
- Cassandra Miller (from Altadena) was the winner from the pool of members who re-upped their membership during the month of June.
Board member Mia Dunn writes: “Cassandra wins a gift certificate to Plate 38 restaurant in Pasadena. Mike receives a copy of the book At Home Pasadena and Mud receives a special #500 buttton, accolades and our eternal appreciation!”
(And yes, Mud Baron is his name, altho’ probably not the one he was born with. Conincidentally, he’s going to be in a feature story we’re working on right now …)
