LA County health has been keeping track of rabid bats all summer. They’ve even appeared in Pasadena, Glendale, Monrovia, and Sierra Madre this year. It’s not unusual — some bats are rabid. And it’s usually not that newsworthy. But the Pasadena Star-News finally takes notice of a rabid bat in Altadena — in a story published seven hours after our own “rabid bat in Altadena” story. When the Star-News wants to know what’s going on in Altadena, they read Altadenablog!
