• Pasadena Weekly’s Jake Armstrong looks at the Altadena foothill ordinance.
• The youthful The Tracs perform in this video at their concert last Friday at Farnsworth Park.
• Author/Pilot Barbara Schultz will appear at the Pasadena History Museum Aug. 18 at 7:30 PM for a lecture and to sign her new book: Pancho: The Biography of Florence Lowe Barnes. Books are available at the museum store, tickets are $5, museum members free, reservations 577-1660 ext. 10 (Pancho Barnes was the granddaughter of Prof. TSC Lowe, but you knew that!)
• Thanks to some pressure from trail supporters and Supv. Antonovich’s office, the Los Angeles County Dept. of Parks and Recreation has a trail crew working on the Altadena Crest trail this week to clear brush and regrade trail if necessary.  (Thanks to Sarah Keever for keeping us in the loop on this.)
