PSN’s Brian Charleslooks at Jackson Elementary parents “getting loud and organized” after their school was tapped for closure by the PUSD consolidation committee.
As we write this Sunday night, we are impressed and saddened: listening to the police scanner, to Pasadena police and volunteers doing a fine-tooth-comb search of bulidings, streets, alleys, parking structures, and parking lots in central Pasadena searching for the missing three-year-old Dylan Kurihara. Every few minutes, somebody radios in with an address and says “Clear.” We just want to hear the transmission that says someone found him, and he’s OK. 11 PM: We heard it! Congratulations to the police and volunteers (especially Rowdy Metzger, the volunteer who found the boy).
