Morning jolt: hydrogen balloon? That’s a good idea!
The Coffee Gallery, 2029 N. Lake Ave., will feature the work of photographer Wm. H. Berwald in the gallery through Jan. 31. There will be an artist’s reception at 6 PM Jan. 9.

The Altadena Urban Farmer’s Market is coming around again on Jan. 16, 1-4 PM, at the Zane Grey Estate, 296 E. Mariposa, and now you can apply online to be a vendor or a member (you have to submit a no-cost membership form to attend). Check out the Arroyo Time Bank website for details and forms.
