Laura Monteros at the Examiner scoops us all with news that the old Pasadena main post office at 281 E. Colorado Blvd. will be named after Altadenan and Tuskeegee Airman Oliver Goodall. Why not the Altadena post office? Because Altadena’s is leased, not owned by the Postal Service — and the Beaux Arts structure across from Pasadena Paseo is in fact historic, as well.
