- The Altadena Urban Farmer’s Market returns after two months of being code-bombed on Sun., May 29, 1-4 PM. It’s at 396 E. Mariposa (the Zane Grey estate), and we’ll be glad to see it back.
- Speaking of code-bombed locals, the Websters companies have announced who’s going to be at next Friday’s Fancy Food Truck event in the Webster’s complex parking lot: Greenz on Wheelz, Hungry Nomad, Border Grill, OG Tempura, Aunties Fry Bread and Tango Mango.
- Speaking of which: LA Times has another article about food truck culture. You know there’s trouble when Sizzler is prepping its own truck …
- Raoul Joseph Germain, 60, of Altadena, pled guilty to one count of bribery in a building inspection scheme. PSN has more.
- The Altadena sheriffs will be conducting a training with school staff at Eliot Middle School on Mon., May 16. There will be a lot of sheriff cars parked around the school that day, and they want to make the public aware that it doesn’t mean something is happening at the school.
