- Altadena HuffPo: AOL has just spent $315 mill to acquire the Huffington Post,with the end of creating the Huffington Post Media Group, to be led by Arianna Huffington, which will integrate all AOL content providers — and that means Patch! So now the thousands of unpaid HuffPo correspondents will have about 1,000 new websites to fill up … LA TImes is less than kind about it.
