FYI – According to the lastest East Eaton Wash Neighborhood Association meeting summary… “the Forest Service will be assessing whether there is a way to fence off the area, an “administrative closure for health and safety”. The Forest Service will be sending out a trail crew to eliminate all the trails into the canyon beyond the bridge. According to the forest service, all the trails are “user created” and unofficial.”
It’s sad to think that we are going to loose access to this treasure just because some people don’t have common sense. I am not sure why they try alternate options before this.
