- Brian League, chair of the town council Land Use Committee, tells us the regular meeting scheduled for Nov. 2 has been cancelled. See you again on Dec. 7.
- The county Dept. of Animal Care & Control will be sweeping through Altadena for the next few weeks to make sure your pets are licensed. You can avoid hiding Bowser by beating ’em to the punch and license your pet here.
- Even tho’ it’s looking like Loma Alta and Burbank elementary schools will be closed next year, they’re still receiving $8 million in Measure TT improvements, Brian Charles at PSN reports.
- The Altadena NAACP is holding its 25th anniversary Freedom Fund Luncheon on Nov. 14 at the Castaways Restaurant in Burbank. PSN has the details.
