Market: Lovely photos of the produce at the Altadena Farmers Market at Jessica Comingore’s blog (we would rather take pictures of people than things — it’s just a different approach!). We get a laugh when people say the neighborhoods we live and work in are “off the beaten path” — whose path, Missy?
Community: The FilmWorks website has a nice feature on local showbiz guy Russ Fega and the Altadena Community Chest, which takes donations from the film industry and passes it on to worthy local organizations.
Fundraiser: Don’t forget: the Altadena Ale & Wine House, 2329 N. Fair Oaks Ave., is holding a French wine tasting fundraiser for St. Mark’s school: tickets are $35 at the door, with seven wine tastings and hos d’oeuvres, 3-6 PM.
