In the lead up to the holidays, there was just a lot going on, and we did our best to cover it all! Some highlights — in pictures and video –after the jump.
1. Snow at St. Mark’s Church’s Winterfest. 2. Christ the Shepherd Lutheran Church also held a craft fair/rummage sale (Parishioner William Korn, on the left, talking to Pastor Mark Witte); 3-4. Cute kids were a big part of the entertainment at the Christmas Tree Lane Lighting Ceremony — thanks to Deb Halberstadt, Half CIty Productions, for her photos.
There were also two big music events simultaneously Sunday night: the Briton Ensemble, singing old songs of Christmas at Altadena Community Church; and Westminster Presbyterian Church’s annual Christmas Brass concert, augmented by the Riverside City College Chamber Singers in a program that sometimes reached transcendence. We hope to have the video up here later today.
