Just got word that a car on the 1400 block of E. Loma Alta was stripped of valuable goods (cellphone and videocam) on Saturday night.  It was left unlocked in the driveway, and less than an hour after the driver went inside, someone else was making calls on their cellphone.

UPDATE 5 PM 1/13:  More rifling thru cars, this time on Sunny Oaks Circle, according to a newsgroup post.  Apparently there's also a run on GPS systems that people received for the holidays and mounted in the car.
