Reader Gerry Cichlar writes that he has about 10 deodar cedar saplings that he’s grown from seeds (currently 8 ft. tall and outgrowing their pots) that he’s willing to give to good homes.

 

Altadena is losing it’s mature trees and I would like to help maintain our community’s urban forest. These trees need to be planted soon and I would love to donate them to any Altadena residents to plant in their yards, or if the Christmas Tree Lane folks are interested they are free for the taking.
