Neighbors are reporting to the newsgroups that two campers in the Millard Canyon campground were spotted with bows and arrows stalking deer in the campground and by cabins Sunday morning. It is illegal to hunt in that area.

According to an email going out, people have reported the hunters and confronted them that it is a public recreation area and populated neighborhood, but apparently has no effect.

The hunters, described as two white males, were described as driving a white Toyota Tacoma truck, license # 7A19687. 

Be aware of this activity on the local trails this season.  Wear bright colors and put brightly-colored vests or other items on dogs and horses.
