Temps of 100 degrees are predicted for today, and the fire above Sierra Madre is still raging.  News reports say that it’s 5 percent contained, and full containment may not be for 2-3 days.

It’s a tinderbox out there, so be careful!

The latest (7 AM):  350 acres have been burned, and about 200 homes north of Carter Ave. are being evacuated.
