Pasadena city librarian (and Civil War scholar) Nick Smith will share stories of some of the over 500 Civil War Union veterans who are buried in Mountain View Cemetery, 2400 N. Fair Oaks Ave., on Memorial Day at 2 PM. Margaret Alley of the United Daughters of the Confederacy will tell the stories of some of the 12 Confederate soldiers also buried there.  The public is invited — bring a flower for the gravesite of a veteran.
