The weekend starts the observances of Holy Week in the Western Christian churches, leading to  Easter festivities on March 23.

This Palm Sunday, March 16, the Altadenablogmaster will be taking off his community journalist hat and putting on his theologian hat to deliver the sermon at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 1014 E. Altadena Dr., at the 7:45 and 10:30 services.  (There’s also a family-friendly service at 9 a.m.)
