Halloween is only  a week away, so it’s time to start thinking seriously ….

Decorations:  We’re looking for pictures of outstanding Halloween decorations this next week — if you think your house (or one in your neighborhood) is worth a look, send us a picture or give us the address and we’ll take it ourselves! (altadenablog@gmail.com)

Farnsworth Park will start the celebrations on Friday, Oct. 25, and Saturday, Oct. 26, with a haunted house at the Davies Building from 7-9:30 PM.  There will be candy involved.  And then, on Halloween (Thurs., Oct. 31) they will do it all again from 6-9:30 PM.

Loma Alta Park will have a costume contest, coloring contest, Halloween-themed carnival games, and of course candy on Halloween eve, Wed., Oct. 30.  Aimed at the 13 and younger set, the festivities run from 5-7 PM.  On Halloween, there won’t be any activities, but there will be candy.

Charles White Park will have a haunted house on Wednesday and Thursday, from 5-7 PM, with … candy.  Aimed at the younger set, but of course all ages are welcome to the haunted house.
