Six — count ’em six — food trucks joined the throng at the Altadena Golf Course parking lot Monday night, drawing a good-sized crowd before the annual Altadena Town & Country Club fireworks display.

Altadena Chamber of Commerce President Inger Miller (Miller Hawkins Productions) said they were surprised at the size of the turnout, which was a fundraiser for the Chamber’s Marion Lee Wullshlager scholarship fund.

The crowd was in good spirits as they lined up for food truck grub and waited for the fireworks to begin, which they finally did at 9:45.
