Food Truck Friday: the return
by Timothy Rutt
Altadenans have been pining after their food trucks, to judge by the crowd that gathered for the return of Fancy Food Truck Friday.
The monthly event, created by Webster’s Community Pharmacy, Webster’s Fine Stationers, and Webster’s Liquor, was rained out for its spring return last month, so everyone was champing at the bit, so to speak. Yesterday was a perfect day for a food truck feast, and so the crowd was already at respectable levels within a half hour.
Six more food trucks are coming next month, but if you want your food truck fix, you can also go down to Pasadena’s Central Park for LitFest Pasadena — there’ll be food trucks and books, and it’s kind of hard to imagine anything better than that.
