Just got an update from Sarah Eagle, the Community Development Manager for the American Cancer Society who's coordinating Saturday's Relay for Life at Farnsworth Park:
We have 15 teams registered so far…our Lockheed Martin team is our top team and they have 50 people on their team!!
We have entertainment all day, Assemblymember Portantino will be stopping by, our Luminaria Ceremony at 9pm has an amazing speaker from the Wellness Community and we have bagpipers to play as we walk our silent lap.
We would just like to extend an invitation to ALL Altadena residents to come and visit us at Relay For Life !!
