As you know, the Altadena Sheriff’s Station installed two drop off boxes in front of the Station a few months ago and the boxes are now being very well used.

For those of you who need a safe way to dispose of sharps – hypodermic needles, the Station doesn’t yet have a sharps box available.

If Athens Services is now picking up your trash/recyclables/greenwaste, they may be able to provide a means for safe disposal.  You can call them at 626 336 3636 ask for customer service for the Altadena area and ask for help disposing of needles.
