We're sorting through a rash of email (and appreciate any help you can give) on two developing stories:
1. Last Sunday afternoon, Eaton Canyon suffered through its worst bout of graffiti, reported as appearing from the entrance to the bridges, with paint cans left strewn about as well.
2. Received several complaints about the rap artists who appeared as part of Aveson Charter School's June Jubilee last Saturday — some folks saying they were highly inappropriate for a school fundraiser.
We're sorting through the emails, and appreciate more to help us get to the bottom of these! More as these develop.

I think the groups at the fundraiser were highly inappropriate for any function where young children or young adults might be within earshot. Worse yet, it so easy now for children from K-12 to find these “artists” and directly download this trash. And they are school sanctioned? Look back to your June 2 post where these folks were named and simply Google them. I think the bottom is not far away. As a contrast check June 4 where the rest of the list of events makes me proud to live in this wonderful community.

Talk about inappropriate!!! In a neighborhood that is experiencing a first time ever rash of graffiti, Aveson featured Jason Walker a Graffiti “artist” at it’s fund raiser on Saturday, just hours before the disaster in Eaton Canyon. How responsible is that and what does that teach the students about the value of our neighborhood and respect for property?
