Now that Curiosity is safely on Mars, Altadenan Adam Steltzner, the  Entry/Descent/Landing team leader, can relax with the knowledge of a job well done.

 

Here’s a feature on Stelztner, who’s journey to Mars began as a rock-n-roller, on NPR.

And here’s another (NPR must love him) on engineering his garden (ignore that they say he’s in Pasadena, what do they know?)
