Crown City Symphony opens the season with Dvorak, Gliere, Bizet
Ophelia Nanagyulyan is the violin soloist performing “Romance” by Dvorak, and “Phoenix” from the Red Poppy Suite by Gliere.
The orchestra is premiering “Inside Passage” by Jim Stanley, a clarinetist in the orchestra.
Conductor, Marvin Neumann is also conducting the orchestra in “Colas Breugnon” by Kabalevsky; and “L’Arlesienne Suite #1″ by Bizet.
November 11th the orchestra plays at the First Baptist Church, 75 N. Marengo, Pasadena, at 2PM. November 17 the orchestra plays at the Pasadena Christian Church,789 N. Altadena Dr. Pasadena, at 2 PM. The concerts are free.
