Over the border, the city of Pasadena will hold a community meeting to look at the a draft plan to transform the Lincoln Avenue corridor from an industrial and commercial area to a vibrant neighborhood-oriented district on Wed., Dec. 15, at 6:30 PM at the Northwest Education Center, 2050 Lincoln Ave.

Pasadena Councilmember Jacque Robinson, District 1, encourages business owners, residents and representatives of community organizations to attend and learn more about the city’s proposed Lincoln Avenue Specific Plan, including new housing options and a complement of local-serving retail and service businesses, office spaces, and places for community uses, tied together with public improvements that will create an enjoyable pedestrian environment.

The Lincoln Avenue corridor is a 1.3-mile stretch from the city’s northern boundary to approximately Forest Avenue at the southern end.

The Lincoln Avenue Project Area Committee and Northwest Commission will host the meeting.
