Chris Considine "The Skywatcher" is on patrol again, and reports the latest:
A first wave of 6 flying just as low was seen and heard over the Pasadena Altadena border heading once again to the South East at 9:30 or so and barely visible as they were almost below the trees. Then this wave of 6 Apaches (this time I could SEE the pilots as they literally were over my roof top in single file formation followed by one BlackHawk pulling up the rear. Quite exciting, but still not exactly clear about their current missions and why there are so many so recently.
It's 10:45 right now, and we can still hear some chopper activity from our location. Curioser and curioser!

I was getting ready to use the restroom and heard these as well. It almost sounded like aircraft was going to smash into my house. If it wasn’t a constant thunderous sound I would of grabbed the dog and I had to go.
These things are kind of annoying growing up in San Francisco we did not have police or military helicopters flying overhead on a daily or nightly basis. Don’t get me wrong SF has it’s own noises but i just in general hate helicopters it seems like a good % of the flight is unneccessary and some should be eliminated. Might be a good way to save county $ too?!?
