The problem is most editors and publishers fought the wrong fight. What is killing newspapers is the loss of the classified ad dollar not how editorial product is delivered.

Instead of coming up with ideas like cars.com, monster.com and something to battle craigslist. They fought to put editorial content online.

And in the end, big deal. I don’t click on any ads on any newspaper site for any product. I doubt if others do.
