Arroyos & Foothills leads Millard Canyon hike Saturday
The Arroyos & Foothils Conservancy docents will lead the hike through along the canyon along the streambed of Millard Creek. The Conservancy is in the midst of a campaign to raise money to preserve the remaining acres of the canyon.
No reservation is required. Please bring hiking boots, long pants and long sleeves, a hat, and water. A walking stick may be useful, and no dogs, please. The route is shaded, but be wary of poison oak and rattlesnakes.
Meet at the Millard Canyon parking lot at the end of Chaney Trail (take Chaney Trail past Nuccio’s Nursery to the end).
