I will be attending the Town Council meeting tonight. I have read and heard things that are very upsetting to me as a former Town Council member and most of all, as a citizen of this wonderful town of Altadena. I encourage everyone to attend as we have an opportunity to ask questions and voice opinions on the issues concerning our home and the the alleged election fraud this past June. I am looking forward to hearing why certain people feel that they were barred from having a fair shot at being elected or re-elected. We all should ask “Why”, and be informed as to how the election, by some, is being considered unfair?
I also am looking forward to meeting the new council members and getting to know them better, it’s the way we make our community better. I would love to see this done through dignified and open dialog and not by accusations and finger pointing. Let’s raise the bar of self respect and dignity as a community. Remember our children, the next generation of leaders and other communities are watching!
Thanks

Thanks for commenting, Dennis. I think it’s too early to wave the “fraud” flag — there has been one (maybe/probably planted) news story about challenges to the election results, and results can be challenged and even overturned without fraud being involved — procedural irregularities, for example. Nobody’s used the “f” word publicly, to our knowledge. It will be interesting to hear on what basis the results are being challenged, if indeed they actually are, and what remedy will be sought. C’mon down!
