Assuming the power is back on again, the Altadena Ale & Wine House, 2329 N. Fair Oaks Ave., is holding a fundraising wine tasting event on Sat., Dec. 3, from 5 to 7 PM.

The tasting will benefit Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., for their scholarship fund: the fund will award four African American young men from the Pasadena Unified School District $1,000 each.  Admission is $25, dressy or casual dress, and every hour a bottle of wine will be raffled off.
