“You Light Up My Life….Well…Not Anymore.”
from gloriana casey
Quitting smoking is quite easy,
as Mark Twain, once he quipped.
Done it hundreds of time himself,
said sadly—but with wit!
There’s something in the air today—
or maybe—– something’s not?

so smokers—here’s a thought:
Your friends have quit, and there you are
out smoking in the rain!
It’s not your fault for nicotine

Many families gather around the traditional turkey dinner during the Thanksgiving holiday. Please keep in mind that turkeys do not grow on trees. Millions of turkeys are raised for slaughter to accommodate the American Traditional Thanksgiving dinner. PETA reports on their website entitled “Turkey Transport and Slaughter”:

Close to 2,000 turkeys can be loaded onto a single truck headed for the slaughterhouse. The turkeys are collected by workers who grab them by their legs and throw them into large crates.
