Throughout Marcia’s reign she has had the privilege of sharing her poems with fellow poets on numerous occasions and learned the Altadena community is filled with very talented writers with wonderful stories to share.    

Rosa Macias, 64, of Altadena, was killed Sunday night in a crash on the 210 at Rosemead.  PSN has the details.

Pasadena Playhouse may be dead (our prediction: it will return), but Theatre Americana is rising like a phoenix.  The theater group, which has its roots in the WPA work of the Great Depression, went under in the year 2000, but is now coming back to life again at its old home turf, Davies Auditorium at Farnsworth Park.  Janette Allen of PSN has a  great feature on the theater’s revival under the direction of co-presidents Donna Scarantino and Jim Hensley.

While we weren't looking, we passed the 400,000 lifetime pageviews threshold yesterday.  EEEEK!
