Altadena Dr.: “Soup’s Up.”  For $35 ($40 on day of event), you can enjoy one of Amy’s three unique soup choices along with zucchini bread and French rolls,  presented in a handmade bowl you get to choose and keep forever.

Lieutenant Sanchez indicated there were multiple calls to the [Altadena Sheriff's] Station reporting a large gathering of gang members and that about ten were fighting.

All of the people standing around outside the store were detained at gunpoint. 

Ultimately no arrests were made.

1.  Not on the agenda but an issue that has come up is the removal of the Post Office Mail Boxes in Altadena.  I have had many complaints, particularly by senior residents, that the only safe and practical way to post mail is to drive to the Post Office.
