We’ve been getting reports from the news groups about “scavenger theft” — thieves who enter private yards to load their trucks with whatever is not nailed down (pipes, ladders, barbecue grills, etc.), who later offload their booty onto a “mothership,” — a larger truck parked away from the site of the raid. The large truck then hauls the booty away. One sharp neighbor managed to take pictures and write a description of the trucks.
