The Altadena Sheriff’s Station is reporting that an vehicle vs. building collision occurred at about 4:40 Friday morning on Lake and Calavaras.
The notice comes as part of the Altadena Sheriff Station’s participation in a “Deputy for a Day” Twitter. The tweet from Deputy Marc R. Mrakich says:
Veh VS Building Lake/Calaveras at 440 am 6 people injured. CHP handling the report. No damage to the bldg. #LASD @ALDLASD #Altadena #poltwt
Altadena Sheriff’s Station reports that California Highway Patrol is in charge of the investigation, We have reached out to them for more information.
What about Eliot? Was it affected? I saw this on the chyron on KTLA this morning, but it said Mendocino, not Calaveras, and that the entire street was blocked off.
I think with most vehicle vs. building collisions, the building wins. I hope no one was seriously injured.
It was well south of Calaveras, more like Morada. I happened to be running east on Calaveras at the time, and saw all the lights flashing and first responders flying south. Did it hit the Coffee Gallery?
