On Sunday, October 13¸from 3-7 PM, the Altadena Guild of Huntington Memorial Hospital with Macy’s South Lake will host a Fashion Show Extravaganza/Fundraiser at Macy’s Department Store, 401 S. Lake Avenue in Pasadena. Founded in 1952, the Altadena Guild of HMH has partnered with the Huntington Memorial Hospital and the Huntington Medical Research Institute (HMRI) to provide philanthropic support for them.
This event will benefit Huntington Medical Research Institute (HMRI) and the Constance G. Zahorik Appearance Center of Huntington Memorial Hospital. HMRI is an independent organization dedicated to improving health and prolonging life by enhancing knowledge of life processes and diseases through world-class medical research. The Appearance Center, located in the Huntington Hospital Cancer Center at the Huntington Pavilion has licensed cosmetologists to help breast cancer patients look and feel their best by helping to manage the side effects of cancer treatment, including the use of make-up and wigs.
The fashion show will feature fall fashion trends from a variety of apparel and accessory brands for both men and women. Sizes for women will include Juniors, Missy and Women’s. The event will be held on the mid-level of Macy’s South Lake Avenue Store in Pasadena. You are invited to enjoy socializing with food and drink, a shopping party with personal stylists and special discounts throughout the store. There will be a lipstick bar, perfume sampling, hand massage, gifts and special drawings.
Cost of tickets for the event is $45 if purchased by October 1 and $50 if purchased after that.
