Found: Rooster, who needs a good home

 

RoosterHello Altadenans,

This handsome young rooster was found last week in Eaton Canyon with an older rooster pal (who is still at large.) Since it happens from time to time, we’re assuming the birds were dumped there.

Can anyone provide this beautiful bird with a good home? He’s extremely friendly and completely at ease with my two cats. Happily roams my yard looking for bugs. I’d love to find him a new home by the end of this week.

Melanie, you might try Odyssey Charter School on W. Altadena Dr. They have hens, they might be able to accomodate a rooster.

Thanks for the suggestion. I’m happy to report someone has already offered him a good home where he’ll have the company of other happy and healthy chickens!
