On August 3, 2013 at 11:21 A.M., Pasadena Police Officers responded to a report of a single car collision in the 300 Block of Manford Way, Pasadena. A vehicle was found over the embankment and that vehicle was the same vehicle in which Mrs. Leonard was reported missing. There was a sole female occupant in the vehicle who was found to be deceased and pronounced at the scene. Pasadena Traffic Collision Investigators and the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office responded to conduct the investigation. It was determined that the deceased occupant was in fact Mrs. Leonard.
