Pasadena Mental Health Center (PMHC), an affiliate of Altadena-based Five Acres, will host its sixth annual Fête – “Change the Beat” on Saturday, June 22, 5 p.m. at a private estate in Altadena, to raise critical funds for programs which empower children and families to “change the beat” during difficult periods in their lives. Tickets are available at $75 per person and include appetizers, wine and live entertainment by Domingo Siete.
PMHC will honor Frank Taylor of Pasadena, who served as PMHC’s board chair in 1984 and has provided loyal support for more than 29 years. At over 90 years old, Taylor continues to actively support the organization.
“Pasadena Mental Health Center provides vital support services to our community,” said Taylor. “I remain committed to ensuring these services are accessible for our children and families.”
Johanna Metzger of Altadena is this year’s co-chair. She provides vision and leadership to the event committee and works to ensure the success of the event.
