Bill “Forrest” Westphal points out this article in today’s PSN, about being a volunteer at the county sheriff’s Walnut Station.  But you don’t have to go that far — you can join the hardy volunteer crew here at the Altadena Sheriff’s Station.  Bill writes:

I have been a volunteer there for several years and it’s an interesting, exciting and rewarding way to give back to the community.
