On April 30, 2013, MonteCedro, a new planned Episcopal Communities & Services (ECS) Continuing Care Retirement Community in Altadena, will host Jenny Buchanan, Creator and Director of East Village Yoga in Pasadena, Calif. to introduce the relaxation techniques of yoga and meditation to the San Gabriel Valley area seniors and caregivers.
Buchanan will demonstrate various types of yoga poses that are age appropriate, and introduce health benefits of yoga and meditation such as easing high blood pressure, anxiety and depression.
