This little guy showed up in our driveway on Rubio Vista and Pleasantridge last night (4/29) and – according to neighbors – had been wandering around the neighborhood earlier that afternoon.

We got his attention with treats, gave him food and water and took him to an emergency vet to see if he was microchipped. Unfortunately, he is not. Even though he is wearing a collar, there are no tags or any other information to identify him or his home.

Since we can’t keep him, we will take him to the animal shelter in Baldwin Park later today if we can’t find his owner by then.

He looks like a small, young Chihuahua Minipinscher mix with a mostly black coat with some beige and white on his face and chest. The tip of his tail is also white. He is very playful, still ‘intact’, and seems to be a very sweet boy. He is wearing a collar with blue, green, and white stripes.
