Whisper Farms aquaponic farm open house today 10 AM-4 PM
Altadena Farmers’ Market vendors Whisper Farms is hosting an open house today from 10 AM-4 PM featuring their aquaponic garden. It’s part of the Aquaponics Associations’s 2013 “Tour de Tanks” promotion.
“Aquaponics” is a system that uses aquatic creatures and plants to grow food in a symbiotic system.
Whisper Farms is at 1522 E. Topeka St., just three blocks south of New York Drive and east of Hill Avenue.
