And if you’re lucky for today,
your money  is ( flew-shirk)
“Fluirseach” the spelling truly is,
for PLENTIFUL’s  that perk!

So wear your “seamrog” for today,
that word is our shamrock!
And “blarney” is that smooth, sweet, sound
of those gifted with talk!

Avoid the “donnybrook,” a brawl.
Control your mouth, the “gob”
For “meas, ” ( as mass) it means: Respect.
Make day of fun your job!

Be a ” great crack” today,—which means–
you truly are great fun!
And please–drunk drivers— walk on home,
for DUI, please…NONE!

So celebrate, for we are one,
ALL  Irish for ALL day.
A hundred thousand welcomes then,
to this year’s holiday!
